Hello Jacobi, could you tell me how you configured the members module to show the icons in a row? Since I have many categories which won't fit on a single row I would like to know if it's possible to show them in several rows?

Thank you!

Hello Jacobi22, that looks really interesting!!! I will try it as soon as I get my current problem fixed (admin login suddenly stopped working and I can't login anymore  :x )

QuoteI didn't understand how to integrate the "members" module with the Bakery, could you please explain how to do this?

build a page tree like this

Shop-Overview (Module Members (maybe Module Wysiwyg for some formated Text)
-- Category 1 (Module Bakery)
-- Category 2 (Module Bakery)
-- Category 3 (Module Bakery)
-- Category 4 (Module Bakery)

etc

take the members module and build one or more main groups, then add your shop categorys as a member to this or to each main group. in each member-page set the link to the bakery site. memper-page 1 (category 1) has a link to the bakery page category 1 etc.
use the presets (standard designs) in the members module to build a overview like this on the pic

Thank you for your help, I know I can show the categories as a menu but what I was talking about is more like having the categories show up in some sort of a table with an image for each category, and maybe show the latest products.

I didn't understand how to integrate the "members" module with the Bakery, could you please explain how to do this?

Thank you!

another resolution is the module "members" as a category overview

Hi svsanchez

The links to the bakery child pages show up in your site navigation. So please make sure you have set in your WB template the correct params for the function show_menu():

Hello,

I think this will be an easy question as I just checked the whole Bakery forum and found nobody had asked this, which I think is a basic feature for a product catalog: I installed Bakery and created a few "categories" by adding Child pages in the admin and selecting "Bakery" as the page type. I added a product to one of these categories, then wanted to see my Bakery in action but when I go to the main page of my Bakery, I don't see any links to the subcategories nor any new products published on that page. I have manually type the URL of the category to finally see the products listed on the page.

I know I could manually create a link to each category in my main Bakery page but I'm pretty sure this is not the way the Bakery is intended to work. I was expecting to see all my categories there and perhaps a list of the latest n products published on the store.

Could someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong?

Thank you!
