As i was bored, and i want a new site for my "hosting" thing (soon i'll be a company in the NL) i decided to start on some new template for my site.
Give your opinion about what you think of the site, still a lot of work needs to be done, but here is just already a preview.
BRAMUS.NL (http://www.bramus.nl)
Oh Yes i added an Poll please vote!
Servus,
Yeah looks good. 8-) Nice idea with the splitted menu.
Just a thought - the black menu looks a littlebit oversized to me. :roll:
Best regards from Himberg, nearby Vienna
I like the look of the site and think that the black menu size is good.
I do find the text in your actie.jpg image hard to read with the shadowing.
Thanks for the comments, the actie.jpg is a fast made "photoshop" thingie to see how it would look with some more graphics in the site.
Gonna give it some content today to see how it will look :)
The new site has just been set online after a new server installation where this site is running on now. Running Debian 4.0 with DirectAdmin and the latest builds.
Please check-out http://www.bramus.nl and tell me what you think about the site!
Thanks.

where do you get that error as i havent seen it yet. I think it is because i was moving the support part to the new server and was busy with sql querys. If some one else finds this error please report again so i can try to fix it!

i ment more, where do you see that error message with the query part?
inside the error-window from webdeveloper-tools under FireFox.
The error is thrown from a php script on the serverside.

must be the weather ...
still could be my site as i was implementing the database from the old server for the support part, but it should be fixed now.
Only the CSS problem in Safari left, will take a look at that next week, gonna start with other sites from customers right now :)
In general I really like the cleanliness of the design. Colors also look good for me.
However, I would suggest some minor improvements:
- Redesign the top banner, it occupies quite a lot of space but offer little information - may be shorten it (?)
- I like the navigation but the hover effect seems to have too much 3D - it feels like metal/plastic - which kind of conflicts with the rest of the design
- Did you try logo without the reflection effect? It may be simpler & more reliable.
- Lastly, check this guy out, have always been my favorite hosting site: http://mediatemple.net/ (http://mediatemple.net/)
Good luck with your business :)
@ndh611
hm - nice side, but a couple of css-errors within
- global.css :: line 142 -> it must be "padding-bottom" not botton
- navi.css:: line 48 ->"background-repeat: no-repeat" not none
- dito in line 55,62,69,76,90,97, 149,158
- widgets :: line 27 "width: 8" has no suffix, so 8 "what"? px|em|%|mm?
- dito in line 28 for height, and line 37, 38,51,52,61,62.
- line 100 "text-align: left top;" isn't correct, better use "text-align: left; vertical-align:top;"

1. i dont have a global.css
2. i dont have a navi.css
and widgets????
You sure you are checking the good page?
@ ndh611
I know there is a lot of space in the top banner, but not sure what to put there yet. Was thinking about moving the text closer to the middle. I dont think the navigation has to mutch 3D, i like it the way it is. I had the logo without the reflection, but i think with it looks better and fits better with the header and other reflection effects on some pages.
Last, yes thats a very nice site about hosting, but to bad i cant copy it :P
Sorry, sorry, sorry Bramus - i didn't mean your side :-D
I forgot the @ in the top of the message, i mean http://mediatemple.net/
I apologize again
