Title: PT SLUG now on WebsiteBaker
Post by: mysticcowboy on July 12, 2005, 01:31:05 AM
Just moved my Mac User Group over to WebsiteBaker. Poor members get a new site every few months as I try out different CMS products. WB is a nice fit for this small site. Easy to create and update.

Hmm, clean but not so easy to read site.

Seems to have some problems finding "http://localhost/wb/media/mac_monitor.gif" and others.

I love the WebsiteBaker "Your recipe for succes" logo!

Don't have any trouble browsing with Firefox ;)
Title: Thanks for the feedback

I did this over the weekend and didn't go to my office to check it on Windows IE. It is a Mac site after all.   If there's a vertical spacing problem, it will probably have to wait until next weekend.

If you are having trouble with the images, try refreshing your browser. That has to be a WB or server problem.

Should work in IE Win now.

Thanks all for pointing out the problems. It seems that I was bit by the "IE/Win Guillotine Bug" that causes repositioning and cutting off floated elements. Yuck.

Found the solution here:

Can you provide some tips as to how you integrated the Singapore gallery into WB?

Hi Tim,
Nothing fancy. I created a new page, the chose the "Wrapper" type from the pulldown menu and set the height  to 700px. Since it's just an iframe all you have to do is enter a URL to the main Singapore page.

I used the simpleblue Singapore template and changed the CSS of the heading backgrounds to match the site.

The site admin for WB told me to make certain that I use the most current Singapore version for security reasons.

Singapore has been wrapped into a module in several different CMS products so I'm trying to push my poor PHP skills to do that here. But don't hold your breath. If anybody else figures it out that would be terrific.

Not yet. It's just html now. I'll probably convert it when I get a break. I need to add a quickly up-datable section.
