I need to create a pdf based on information displayed on a webpage or information retrieved from a database. I can created an MS WORD document, but not a pdf.

Any ideas/suggestions will be really helpful.

for generating PDFs you can give FPDF Library (http://www.fpdf.org/) a try. It has a Helppage and Tutorials on its Website (http://www.fpdf.org/). You can Download it there.

EDIT: I just saw that FPDF ist outdated, but found TCPDF (http://www.tcpdf.org/)
