Title: Allocating different SKUs for Item Options
Post by: david doc watson on April 11, 2014, 09:58:21 AM
Hi,

If a product has more than one item option such a Blue or Red, is it possible to give each option a SKU and a stock level.

In other words if set up a prodcut with item options of Red or Blue and I have 6 Red ones and 9 Blue ones - if someone buys a Blue one, I want to reduce the stock of Blue ones from 9 to 8 rather than the total stock from 15 to 14.

its not possible without code changes
the stock level work in the current bakery versions only with the item-id and the option red or blue use the same item-id
there are many things to change, i think, thats a new bakery if you are finisch

you can try to replace the 5 files attached. This should work as long as you are only using one kind of option. Please test extensively before using.
