Hi, I have a client I created a WB site for (v2.8) and she loves it still. She simply wants me to add downloadable PDF files that visitors can download and print. Is there a specific way to do this on WB?

You give less infos. Maybe Downloadgallery (https://addon.websitebaker.org/pages/en/browse-add-ons.php?id=0291C731) is a solution.
You must add download attribute in <a> tag. Otherwise it will open pdf in browser.
