Title: My First Site
Post by: digitalbackups on August 20, 2006, 09:05:56 AM
 www.crosshairchallenge.com (http://www.crosshairchallenge.com)

Did this for a client that wanted "CMS",  its my first WebsiteBaker site,  used the original Round Template and after some reading of the forums I added the left/right side bars and made them  editable via the "Home Page" sections and constant through the site. Plus some other minor additions

The background is the client's idea,  waiting for him to supply another graphic that will tile better and much smaller.

I have very little PHP experience,  but manage to put the site together in a couple of days, mostly spent beating my head against the wall with the sidebars.

Client is currently editing and adding on the site himself, so not responsible for how the content is looking,  I keep giving him minor assistance and he is improving quickly.

Hi Bryan,

nice site ... and nice to see the Paintball Theme in WB (old player myself here in Germany).

Two little hints:

1) With the rounded corners in the content area, I would try to also give rounded corners to the content area itself ...

2) With a little change to the image gallery you can display the pictures in pop-up windows instead of a completly new browser window. I wrote somewhere in a post about it.

cheers

Klaus

In Safari on my Mac the width of the searchbox is wider than the header.
In Firefox everything looks fine.
