Title: I Love This CMS!
Post by: cdiedrich on January 22, 2007, 01:11:27 AM
So, I have been testing several different CMS systems over the last year and have finally decided on WB as the one I am going to use.

I have had 5 projects running concurrently right now and switched them all over to WB in the last month.  They are all in some state of completion, so ignore dead links and such.

(this is not published yet - using WB to manage content - current site is too wide)

Props to deeve07 for giving me inspiration on the design elements. :)

A special thanks to Tri-Star design for their template I am using until I actually have time to design my own website. ;)

The Ramsey's site is gorgeous!  I was working on a restaurant site awhile ago (until they descided not to get one right now) that I didn't think I could get into WB, but you've inspired me to give it a try (when they're finally ready).

How are you using that the calendar? Trumba is it?

It's very interesting, although most small businesses might find $100 a month rather expensive. Are you paying for the calendar yourself and charging a $30 editor account to the site user?

Thanks for the comments.

When I signed up for Trumba for my clients it was only $9.95 per month.  Now that they have switched, my current plan runs through January of 2008, so I won't get nailed for the $100 until then.

I won't probably upgrade and will use some other calendar system.  I thought Trumba would be beneficial to them, but turns out it is way more calendar than they actually need.

Yes, WB is the best CMS for me so far. I have tried several over the months. Some of them are very good but gets a bit too complicated. I love the simplicity of WB. Most people get on a site to look for informations they need and not all the fanciful stuffs. Thumbs up WB!

I have added another site to my WebsiteBaker portfolio:

http://www.kcomaz.org

I am having an issue getting the padding to work properly in Firefox for Mac OSX.

Also, I am using a text replacement image generator JS app that isn't working in Firefoc for MacOSX either.

Could someone tell me if the padding is an issue in Firefox PC?  Also, do you see script or regular text titles on articles/page headers in Firefox PC?

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi cdiedrich,

Your site looks just fine. I don't know exactly what you meant with your question, so I attached a FF screendump and you can judge yourself.

Vincent
