Title: My first WB site
Post by: einsteinsboi on June 11, 2007, 09:54:12 PM
I recently discovered WB and loved it so much that I immediately redid one of my sites using WB.  It's an amazing CMS and I love it.

I used the allcss template and all I did was change the colors, so not much modding to show off, just my plain little business site  :-), but any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks all!

Nice work! Welcome to the wonders of WebsiteBaker =)

Thanks!! I think it's the best CMS I've played with.  I am going to be working on the site some more.  For now I wanted to get it up and running as fast as possible, and WB was perfect for producing a site that looked professional, without much unneccesary baggage (which I find other CMSs to be full of).  I will be modding it and making it look better, and trying to learn to create my own templates and themes.

Thanks for the feedback!!

nice simple website. very fast to get the point.

Only a couple questions!

Do people actually use your service?  Can you actually make a living converting files and recovering passwords?

Thanks for the comment.

To answer your question, yes people do use my services.  I have a small client base of return customers, especially for the file conversion part of it.  I don't make my living out of it, it's one of several different things I do  :-D... a little here and a little there, but I thought it merited its own site to prevent cluttering up different services that I offer in just one website.

Does that make sense to do?
