Nice looking site. What template is this?
One suggestion would be to resize the images on your server that you display in the right column to the size that you are trying to display. This will improve the image resolution and will also improve the load time size the file would be smaller. For example the Mozilla image on your server is 148X142 but you display it is as 50X80 which is both distorted and takes longer than needed to load.
