Title: New site for day care center
Post by: flipt on December 26, 2007, 01:27:23 PM
Hi,

Just finished my fourth WebsiteBaker site: http://www.deregenboog.be/ (http://www.deregenboog.be/).

It's a site for a day care center for children and adults with a physical and/or mental handicap.

Their site has to change on a weekly to daily basis. They were very pleased with the implementation of WebsiteBaker into the newly designed site. The previous site only allowed for on page editing. With WebsiteBaker they can add new pages, categories and subcategories.

One remark though: I made use of drop down menu's and showmenu2, which works fine with IE 7+ and Firefox, but the drop downs don't seem to work with IE 6. Any idea anyone?

Best regards and a happy new year to all you bakers!

Hoi Flip,

another great site of yours.
What is your part in the work: just setting up the CMS and providing the templates, based on someone else's screendesign, or do you develop the screendesign too?

Regards,
Ayshe

Hi Ayshe,

Thanks!

I designed this site from scratch. The logo and the icons were designed by someone else, but I like them. I do at the other hand design logo's and corporate identities, eg www.spagenk.be, www.ibuild.be.

Kind regards,
FlipT

I don't know how FlipT did it, but I would use blocks and sections. See the manual for details.

Hi Pouwie! Yes indeed, as Ayshe says: I made use of different content blocks. These are very easy to implement: http://help.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/en/advanced-docu/designer-guide/content-blocks.php (http://help.websitebaker.org/pages/en/advanced-docu/designer-guide/content-blocks.php)

After creating the blocks in your template, you want to work with different sections in your page.
