I guess I'm getting used to 1024 as a standard width. I started doing web pages with 14"/640 pixel monitors and still want everything to fit in 800. Don't know if I'm being a dinosaur. I guess it depends on the market.

Still and attractive design.

okay...okay! made it a bit.... a bit smaler

Looks good but I have to agree that its way too wide.  If you aren't tracking your visitors' screen resolution, you should.  If you can't look at the raw logs, let me suggest a free one that I use: statcounter.com (unsolicited endorsement! :-) )
Most of my hits are with browsers which are no more than 1024. I still get a lot of 800x600 for that matter.

Review of Statcounter - its free for the last 100 visitors (can pay to subscribe for a bigger log), lets you filter out your own viewing of your site (blocking "ignore me!" cookie), has lots of drill-down statistics etc.  Much easier to read and nicer looking than tools like webalizer I've seen, I must say.  Will generate a small piece of javascript to be pasted anywhere on the page. I actually put it in the footer on the settings page, not even in the template.  You can make the counter invisible (no doubt preferred), and if you don't mind writing a cookie, you can get an indication of return visitors.

You can create multiple sites under your same profile, and you can even grant access to other ids and limit what they can do. So for my users, I created an account and granted them access to view the statistics and create a blocking cookie, but they can't see into my other websites.

I recommend it highly. The only thing is that some of the "host file" replacement or maybe other anti-spyware programs may have statcounter cookies on their bad list, since it IS used for "tracking" users. But if you use the invisible counter, the users will never know; however they won't show up on your statcounter stats.

yes i could :-) but why should i
the template is strongly based on ryans *box*... i've started with that one and it works perfect for me... and my clients!
if i'll find time to write a template by my self... css will be the way!

Really good looking site! But you could achieve this with pure CSS!

@ zaggi

jep, you're right! on windows 1024 x 768 (with a resolution of 96 dpi) the site does not fit! mac's use 72 dpi and there is no problem at all!
but in the ages of larger monitors (17" to 21") the site is working well on both systems.

Site dosent fit on a 1024x768 screen.
1024x768 is a normal screen size i mean. Should't it fit? I mean. Scroll left/right kinda stinks.
