Working on a new backend template, feedback needed

it's still in mockup phase. First I would like to gather as much feedback as possible before slicing it.

i like orange! 

the grey menu is a little to paltry (impropper) in contrast to the clear and smooth icons and main area...but this is just only my personal thougt...

i would like to test it and see how it works - i think alltogether it is a real good addition to the existing designs!!
