Oh, i did not know this. Had no errors in the past.
I will rewrite jQuery for you (give me some hours).  :-D

maybe it would be a nice idea to combine that whith something like the "topics" module.

Hey,

also thanks for the reply, in what form/way you mean...? I have some thought of (re)designing a backend theme to fit the
Dashboard edit space better but that I guess not what you mean?

Maybe looks good, but 4 JS-errors and over 170 other warnings.
There still a lot of work is to be done for the frontend, hm?

Hey,

yes it's known but it's mainly 'default' jQuery errors... as jQuery is not really W3C compliant
it's probably 'accepted' by most developers ;) and moreover on (Mac) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
and Opera the errors don't show up...

But I'm aware of it but don't have the time rewrite jQuery lol. It's not needed/added for the
backend but the VA Template Framework 3.5.5 uses it for some functions...

Looks good - very promising for frontend editing

- is it possible to restrict editing to main content or restrict editing for one or more contentsections
- after saving maybe an autoreload of current page would be more intuitive for common users

I am curious for the used snippets etc.

John

Hey,

thanks well it's a first rough version... and used the links thats already available in backend,
so tracing for example the 'save' action... takes some time but is a good one ;)

Hey,

I extended the VA Template Framework 3.5.5 with a (kinda) new concept of editing pages
that its quite common in Drupal and Wordpress... a Frontend Dashboard! At the moment
it's not for download but I'm thinking of it making a script/droplet... any comments
are welcome!

To check it out login with "Demo" and "123" at: http://revamds.com/,
most of pages is protected but in the "playground" pages can be edited.
