[REQ]-[IDEA] Mobile admin theme

Maybe you should wait a (short) while,
Because of the things i read WB 2.8.4 will get another templating library (system) mainly in the backend.

And an app would be difficult because then you need to adapt the core of WB.

Easiest (in my opinion) would be, making a existing admin template responsive.

Hi all,

Today an idea sprung into my mind. A WB mobile admin theme (or app). This afternoon a customer called me and ask me to change something in the backend. As i was on the road on that moment the only thing i had was my mobile phone. So i thought wouldn't it be handy if we got a mobile admin theme. The main reason i'm posting this is ;

1. maybe there is such an admin theme, i've searched but i couldn't find it.
2. the backend theming is very different then the front end, i never did it before. I'm going to take a shot at it but i guess the progress is going to be slow.

In my mind the theme could borrow it's design from the mobile facebook app. (left panel sliding in and out etc), it would be great if it's fluid design so it also would fit tablets.

So who's in ? It's not a commercial request, simply an idea and maybe there is someone who could make it faster then me and want to accept this "challenge".  We could use this thread to brainstorm and develop the theme.

Let me start.

I would love to see a float in/ out left panel like the facebook app to keep the working space as big as posible.
And i think we should use the ismobile module to check if someone is loggin in with a portable device.
