photographer site

rabsaul

Elegantly understated. Very nice. :)

The only thing I'm not quite sold on is the background on those main page links. Not quite right, to me.

Argos

Very nice, stylish design. I like the name/header part the most, from a design point of view. But the site as a whole is very nice and pro as well.

Wow--thanks! can you send your ip address just in case they need that?

Update: I sent the info to the hosting company so hopefully they can do something...

Actually they said they didn't do anything and asked me to find my ip address and do a traceroute. So if it's not working again, I'd better get that info to them. Say, what they really need is for you to do a traceroute isn't it? Is that something you could do and then email me the info?

kweitzel

right now it's again not accessible ...

what did they do?

Whew--I'm glad it's working again! Thanks for your comments and persistence in accessing the site. Please let me know if anyone has anymore trouble.

Thanks!

kweitzel

Obviously they changed something, I get a connect now.

btw, a nice page. Actually I think the idea with the "moving" pictures is great ... keep on, I am looking forward to see more from you!

cheers

Wow. That's surprising since the page at the main site is really small and only html. I've got a message into the hosting help desk.

Thanks and if anyone else is having probs, please let me know.

kweitzel

the issue seems to be the server, at least trying to access from Overseas (Ruebenwurzel and me are in Germany). Not even the Mainsite is responding fast enough to send any data.

I would check with the server admin ...

cheers

ruebenwurzel

Hello,

tried it too the whole day, more then 10 times and always got a timeout, no page.

Matthias

valerie

That's disturbing--if anyone else has this problem can you post and let me know too? It comes up for me, so I'm not sure how to test to see what's wrong, but this would let me know if it's an isolated problem or not.

Thanks for your comments, everyone.

kweitzel

I mus always choose the wrong time to access it ... my requests always time out ... a shame

cheers

http://www.espencer.net/WebsiteBaker-2.6.1/wb/

This is all WB with four variations of a heavily modified Andreas02 template--I'm sure Mr. Viklund wouldn't recognize/claim it anymore

The galleries are built by Jalbum using the simpleviewer and put into the site in a wrapper section. The temporary gallery pictures were taken by me of my niece. The homepage sliding menu is based on a menu by Stu Nichols at cssplay.com. I had to hard-code it but I used the [wblink] code so the link paths are controlled in the WB admin (thanks to the wb community people who helped me with the code).

The site will move to the domain root: www.espencer.net as soon as the photographer gets all the content loaded.

Please let me know what you think....
