Thanks for pointing that out. It's fixed now, though with the full CSS layout the site slogan will overlap the logo. Unfortunately with the liquid layout, it's one or the other condition.

You're right Klaus. Well almost. It's not the borders but the backgrounds. I had to overlap them or the mouse wouldn't register. If you can clean up the code and get it to work that would be great. I have to leave it for a bit. My brain is fried.

I think the answer is in the widths. I'll probably have to put some of the current CSS widths  as they are now, in the IE stylesheet, then readjust the screen.css sheet for Firefox.

If you want to play with it, maybe you could adjust the IE widths using the * html hack at the bottom of the nav section, then I'll transfer them to the conditional style sheet.

Hi Mike,

looks cool ... but in Firefox the borders are smaller than the boxes with the navigation options ... I think, I'll have to check that out as well ;-)

cheers

I put up another variation on the simple template at http://www.michaelsdesigns.com/resources/pages/multi-level.php

Just that page is set with the new template but it should show the three level dropdown menu. I did from the Son of Suckerfish tutorial.

Still testing it and would appreciate any feedback. So far it works in IE 6, Firefox 1.5 and (pretty well) Safari 2.
