Many thanks for the replies. I have some food for thought now and will see what I can do.

Hello,

one idea is to make a module which allows to edit all textfiles. Possible canditates:
http://cker.name/webadmin/
http://quixplorer.sourceforge.net/

The quixplorer is available as module for Joomla too: http://www.joomlaos.de/Downloads/Joomla_und_Mambo_Komponenten/JoomlaXplorer.html

This would be a great addition to WB. I have no time to develop it, but it should not be that difficult. One could think of combining the tools above with the Syntax Highlighting of Codepress http://codepress.org/, which is introduced to WB since v2.6.6 (folder /include).

Hello!
Well, this site here is quite the only platform for WB, so you wiill hardly find some module that isn't found here.
Some modules that are being tested and should work properly are found in the Addons-Repository. Many modules or Code-Snippets are found in the two particular subforums here.
Use the search funktion. ;) But remember: Many modules aren't finished yet. And WB is one thing: Easy.
It has not too many features.   :-)
To your modules: A forum module (SMF) can not be available due to licence problems of SMF. A phpBB3 forum module is not finished yet (and could take some time). But it could easyily itnegrated as a link or "wrapper".
For mailing lists the "Massmail" module could be perfect, for a shop perhaps this Freewebshop integration module (not really finished), weblinks is no problem with WB itself /Menu Link, Wrapper and the WYSIWYG (I would teake FCKEditor or Xinha as standard editor), and there are some event modules.  8-)

Hi,

I have just recently started using WebsiteBaker and think it is really good. I have spent the last couple of days working on the display module for my sports software.

I work a lot with Joomla! and Mambo based websites but have been looking for a system that has a better user control system built in rather than using  addons. I seem to have found it(actually I think I have found a system with a lot more to offer than just ACL).

I have some users of my sports software that I will be helping to develop websites for soon and I know I will be needing some additional modules. Such as forums, mailing list, shop, weblinks, events etc. I am going to work my way through the addons available on this site but wondered if there where any other sites that have modules available.

I would also like to hear from anybody who has ideas for modules as it will be a way of me being able to give something back to the project.
