Multilanguage website with changing backgrounds

Boudi

Hi,

Thank you for all the responses and tips! Appreciate it

In this case the lay-out design was created together with another designbureau who was responsible for the folders and international campaign around this patented product. So in some things unfortunately I had to give in because of higher powers

So therefore I understand your suggestions very well. Personally the website is too wide and so indeed hard to watch for smaller screens. For me 950px would do.

@ Bramus: You are right. The submenu should appear all the time. I correct it after consultation with the company.

@ Vyni: You are right: I overlooked the background of that particilar page in the English language. (missing 1 over 43, it could have been worse ) Just corrected it. Thank you  :-)

When the other 2 languages are done the website will go commercial. In that time there are things to correct

So again: thank you for your suggestions/corrections.  :-)

Hi Boudi,
nice page. Excellent photos. Nice color-scheme
And Yes - this is too big. You propably use a flat-screen with 1280x1024 or higher - but the rest of the world is still using the elder monitors - 1024x768 is very often. In such a monitor is a view-area of 950x520 and not much more. At least You should reduce the width to avoid horizontal-scrolling.

Annother thing is that video-page. I was trying 3 different browsers - in every one I saw only the menu and the footer in the supposed place. the rest of the screen was black. The video shows almost centered under the menu (which is to the right, isn´t it?) and just a few pixels below the menu. And also just a black rectangel with border. But the video itself is playing on clicking the start-button.

Therefore You should remake it.

But the overall-looking is fine. - Just resize it and it will be nice.

I agree with Bramus: nice site, but your window needs to be over 1024px wide to see the whole site.
Why not do it the 'normal' way of putting menu and text on the left en the image on the right, that way everybody can always read the text and menu at least.

Vincent

Nice looking site, to bad the 2nd menu disappears at product information when you click something, this is pretty annoying. And maybe make the menu also highlight the selected page, like Product Information or Contact.
