Google Browser Size

Hi
are you planning to add browser viewport resolution size into Google Analytics?
Browser viewport is place in browser where user can see actual content of web page. Not all users are using maximized windows so in fact real size of place which is user using is a much smaller than display resolution.
I am sure that this is one of most important statistics data about user, more important than display resolution size.

I measured the _viewport_ = The actual visible part of a webpage.
And I compared it to the ScreenSizes (as shown by google-analytics)
I found out: its 20-25% of visitors who have NOT maximized the browser-window.

This was 2 years ago.

Check the google-graphic: it says: 70% have a viewport HEIGHT of < 550px, which is typical for a screenresolution of 1024 * 768 (minus some toolbars)
OK - Lots of people with a bigger screen resize the browser window - but do they resize it to the typical height? No! Maybe the resize to the typical width - because a lot of pages with fixed width fit - but NOT the height.

Maybe the data are over the last 10 years - this could be a reason für the lots of small viewports. But do I have to care about it in the year 2010?

Apology 1: Sorry I don't understand German so can't see how your measurements were made.
Apology 2: Google don't measure window size, but measures the client area size which means the browser window without the title bar, tool bars, status bars, etc. Does yours?

Google are measuring the window* size when google is accessed, not the monitor's maximum size.

Perhaps somebody has a huge display and doesn't know how the website will look in a smaller screen - Google has here a quite good (I meant not so good because of some bugs) new feature: http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/

For the browsers... Just try http://browsershots.org/ as before.
