Hi Alan,

Sorry, I am not sure which "top" menu you are referring to in Bakery. It sounds like you are referring to something that is specific to your Website Baker template.

If you are talking about the menus in your Template, this will require some programming. Skills required to modify a template often include PHP, HTML and CSS. The Show_menu2 or Show_menu2 command in your template is the command that creates the menu. You can take a look at the Simple template included with WebsiteBaker as an example of a template that has the top menu on the side. You can find the source code for this template in the template/simple/index.php file which you can view using text editors like PSPad, Notepad++ or even Windows Notepad. You can also find documentation for Show_menu2 at: http://www.websitebakers.de/sm2/

On a side note, this area is reserved for discussions of the Bakery module. If you would like more help with WebsiteBaker Template menus, you will find better support from the community by creating a new topic in the Templates, Menus and Design area of the forums.  When you post a message there, provide additional information that is specific to your situation (which template you are using for example) will really help in encouraging people to help you out.

Hope you found some of this helpful. I apologize if I misunderstood your request and would like to encourage you not to give up. WebsieBaker is a really easy to use system for managing your website. Unfortunately setting up your template can be a bit of a challenge if you are not a programmer.

With warmest regards,

Hi Being a novice i would like some help please - can i add an extra "message" box to the end of the "submit Order address" page, like after the last place "phone number"  add another line/box for a message to be left etc.

Any advice would be welcome.  Thank you.

Hi Smile,

Thank you so much for your great question.

If I understand you correctly, you would like to add a field so that the customers can add a comment when placing an order. If this is the case, this is currently on the list of future enhancements I would like to see in Bakery. if you are interested in doing some programming, I would really appreciate your help and would be happy to add your code into the next version of Bakery that I am developing.

It's an excellent suggestion and one that is on the list of future enhancements for Bakery. To see my list of what's coming soon and what will hopefully come in the future, please see:
https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,18426.msg128640.html#msg128640

If you have any other suggestions that are not already on the list, I would welcome hearing what you have to say.

With warmest regards,

Michael
