Problem with stock duplication

svsanchez

Hello Christoph, so you mean that there is no way of showing a product in more than one category without duplicating the stock? If it's not possible to do that, is there at least a way to have a page where we show the "latest" or "featured" products added to the shop?

Thank you!

Hi

Items belong to 1 page/category. If you duplicate an item, you'll get a clone - a new item! There are no aliases or similar in Bakery.

Hello, I don't know if I am doing things wrong or if there is a bug with the stock in Bakery. The problem arises when I add a product to more than one category. What I do now is as follows:

1) I create the product under it's main category
2) I "DUPLICATE" the product to the other categories where I want it to be shown

Then, when I check the stock, I have the product twice there, with the same amount of units on each category. But the truth is it's the same product, and it shouldn't have duplicated it's available quantity.

I guess I am doing things wrong when I click the "DUPLICATE" product, but the only other option it gives me is "MOVE" the product to another category. But I need to show some products on more than one category, is there a way to do this without duplicating the stock?

It this is not possible, is there a way to at least show the latest or "featured" products on another page?

Thank you!
