Actually it's meant to bleed over the edge. In IE it doesn't do it, unfortunately, but it's a neat roll over effect in FF.

The page is designed for those who are older and is to be easily navigable. And since it's a healthcare field not everyone has perfect vision so I had to make use of larger font's and much whitespace.

It's not a techie site, it's not a graphic design site. It's a simple and easy to use site for information. More an exercise for me in simplicity.

Also the header images are to be changed... We just haven't heard back from the photographer yet.

can we get a copy of that template, would love to use your menu system.

Also, I rather like that bleed in firefox, kind of a cool effect by accident.  :)

Nice colour scheme, but I find the approach a bit too overbearing, I'm afraid. The header might be okay on the front page only. Most of the text is so large that it makes me think of a child learning to print. Also, in Firefox, your hovers on your horizontal menu bleed over into the header.

Sorry if this sounds negative, because I really think you have a good start to work with here. This could be really good, but it's not quite there yet, IMO.

Thanks for the comments Klaus!

I figured it's really not that important to see the footer for the public. They know what's down there and if they want to see it they can. Everything works very similar in IE and FF except for the hover doesn't extend above the picture in IE.

Thanks!

yeah ... it was definatly to hot in the oven ... and the site is till to hot ;-)

the only thing that would bother me is that you can not see the footer on a 1024x768 resolution ... maybe remove the gray bar above the logo and make the whole thing a bit shorter. This happens with IE and Mozilla based browsers ...

Anyway, next time, try not to set the oven so ot ...  :-D

cheers
