I like the basic look, rather stylish.

The thing that bothered me was the loooong narrow news though. I think you entered the long version of the news in the short news box. I would suggest keeping the short news description short and letting readers click through for more.

Speaking of which... if you click on the title or read more, the news is still in a tiny box on the site, that statistics are still huge and so is the title on news... so big that it's unreadable.
And in IE 6, the left column on the news page floats below the stat box unless the window is around 800 px wide - which is not the case on the front page.
